Home Heating Systems
There are many home heating systems that can be employed for home heating from conventional boilers to innovative renewable energy sources.
Boilers:
There are several types of boilers available on the market, from high efficiency boilers to conventional and combination boilers, all of which either use natural gas, oil or solid fuels.
Ground Source Heat Pumps:
This home heating system works by extracting energy stored in the ground. It is very efficient but can often be troublesome to install due to the need for long underground pipes that have to be placed underground in your garden.
Solar Panels:
Solar heating can be used to provide hot water using either flat or cylindrical panels. The type of system does rely on the sun to generate energy and thus is not an ideal solution for the UK climate.
Biomass Boilers:
This type of heating system uses alternative biomass fuels such as wood chip, wood pellet or cereals rather than burning fossil fuels.
Air Source Heat Pumps:
Captures the suns energy from the air which is then transferred into water to meet all your home heating and hot water needs.
In recent years due to the greater focus upon renewable energy source we have seen a move from the previous widely used conventional and combination boilers to renewable home heating systems.
Here at Green Air Central Heating we are exclusively committed to air source heating. We believe this type of heat pump technology is ideally suited to the UK climate and will help you to lower your household carbon emissions, which is great for the environment.
